All foods are not created equal.
Naturally, some are classified as "superfoods" chock full of powerful antioxidants, phytonutrients, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals, while others don't even contain enough nutrients to meet the lowest standards of the USRDA--mostly due to the less than ethical agricultural practices used to grow our food in this country.
Every natural food--in its unaltered form--whether fruit, vegetable, root, or herb has (or had, in its original form before genetic engineering) its own unique makeup of powerful antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, each beneficial in its own right, capable of playing a vital part in the fortifying, and/or healing, of all of the cells and organs in the human body.
Read that again.
The right amounts and combination of these foods can provide a super-immune boost that can potentially ward off and heal any disease or sickness that ever existed. YES, even Cancer, and AIDS. The human body is designed to heal itself, provided with the proper sustenance to fuel and strengthen the immune system, igniting vital organs necessary for the expulsion of toxins and free radicals from the body via the kidneys, liver, lymph nodes, urinary and digestive tracts, and even the pores in our skin.
Living Food vs. Dead Food
Fruits and vegetables all contain living cells, as they all come from living plants and trees. Once these cells are subjected to high heat to cooking, baking, grilling, and boiling temperatures, their chemical--or nutrient--makeup transforms into compounds and toxins whose cells are in a degenerative, or dead, state.
Consuming "living"--or raw--foods, a combination of the right fruits, vegetables, and herbs, as well as the proper balance of protein, healthy carbs (yes, there is a such thing), fiber, and fatty acids, is all we need to live a longer, healthier, happier life. The foods we've been raised eating (aka the American diet) are taking a toll on our bodies filling our intestines with toxins as they turn into putrefied waste in our colon that in turn weakens our immune system and becomes a breeding ground for bacteria, fungus, and disease.

Revitalize Your Health: The Magic of Nutrient Combinations and Herbal Tea Formulas
In our fast-paced modern world, maintaining a healthy diet often falls by the wayside as we succumb to the convenience of junk foods and processed meals. However, the importance of consuming the right combinations of raw fruits and vegetables, healthy carbs, fiber-rich foods, and vegetable proteins cannot be overstated. This blog post explores the remarkable health benefits of these choices, along with the healing potential of herbal tea formulas. Conversely, we'll delve into the detriments of a junk food-laden diet and the diseases and health risks associated with
typical American eating habits.
The Power of Nutrient Combinations:
Raw Fruits and Vegetables: Incorporating a variety of raw fruits and vegetables into your diet provides a plethora of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that support your immune system, cellular health, and overall vitality. The natural sugars in fruits offer energy without the insulin spikes associated with processed sugars.
Healthy Carbs: Opt for complex carbohydrates like whole grains, quinoa, and sweet potatoes. These foods release energy gradually, providing sustained fuel for your body and brain. They also contain fiber, which aids digestion and promotes a feeling of fullness.
Fiber-Rich Foods: Foods high in fiber, such as beans, legumes, and leafy greens, not only regulate digestion but also help manage blood sugar levels and promote heart health. Fiber also contributes to a healthy gut microbiome, which has been linked to various aspects of well-being.
Vegetable Proteins: Plant-based protein sources like lentils, chickpeas, nuts, and seeds offer essential amino acids without the saturated fats found in animal products. They support muscle growth, repair, and overall bodily functions.
Healing Power of Herbal Tea:
Antioxidant Boost: Herbal teas, such as green tea, chamomile, and hibiscus, are rich in antioxidants that combat free radicals in the body. These compounds play a role in reducing inflammation, lowering the risk of chronic diseases, and promoting healthy aging.
Calming Effects: Many herbal teas have calming properties that can help reduce stress and anxiety. Chamomile and lavender teas, for instance, contain compounds that induce relaxation and support better sleep quality.
Digestive Support: Herbal teas like peppermint and ginger can aid digestion, alleviate bloating, and soothe an upset stomach. They can also promote healthy bowel movements.
Detoxifying: Herbs like Cascara Sagrada, Uva Ursi, Milk Thistle, Burdock and Yellow Dock roots have cleansing properties that detox the blood, kidneys, liver, and lymphatic system removing toxins and impurities from the organs that filter waste from the body.
Junk Foods and Health Risks:
Weight Gain and Obesity: Junk foods are often high in refined sugars, unhealthy fats, and empty calories. Regular consumption can lead to weight gain and obesity, increasing the risk of diabetes, heart disease, and joint problems.
Cardiovascular Issues: Diets rich in trans fats and excess sodium, common in many junk foods, can elevate blood pressure and cholesterol levels, contributing to heart disease and stroke.
Metabolic Syndrome: The American diet's reliance on processed foods and sugary beverages is linked to metabolic syndrome—a cluster of conditions, including high blood pressure, high blood sugar, excess body fat, and abnormal cholesterol levels.
Gut Health Disruption: Junk foods can negatively impact the gut microbiome, leading to digestive issues and potentially influencing other aspects of health, including mental well-being.
Making mindful choices about the foods we consume can significantly impact our health and well-being. By embracing a diet rich in raw fruits and vegetables, healthy carbs, fiber-rich foods, vegetable proteins, and we provide our bodies with the essential nutrients they need to thrive. Pairing this with the healing potential of herbal tea can further enhance our overall vitality. On the flip side, consistently indulging in junk foods can expose us to a range of health risks and chronic diseases associated with the typical American diet. Remember, each bite is an opportunity to nourish and heal your body, so make it count!
